Chelsea will wrap up the league phase of the Europa Conference League with a home game against Shamrock Rovers on Thursday evening.
Having already secured a spot in the last 16 after defeating Astana 3-1 last week, Chelsea are aiming to maintain their perfect league phase record and finish as group winners.
Despite rotating their squad in every game, Chelsea are the only team to have won all five of their league phase matches comfortably. Enzo Maresca is expected to field a different lineup for this game, looking for an eighth consecutive victory in all competitions.
Shamrock Rovers, on the other hand, are unbeaten in the league phase and need a win to secure direct qualification to the last 16. They have already secured a spot in the play-offs with three wins and two draws.
This will be the first competitive meeting between Chelsea and Shamrock Rovers.

Mykhailo Mudryk will be absent from the game after failing a drugs test. The Ukrainian, a regular in the Conference League, has been provisionally suspended and faces a potential lengthy ban.
Wesley Fofana and Reece James are still sidelined with hamstring injuries, with the former not even in Chelsea’s league phase squad. Cole Palmer will also be rested for this match.
