Recently, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson made a special visit to Speedway High School. He donated new VICIS helmets to the football team and took the time to meet with the coaches and players.

The helmets were part of Richardson’s partnership with VICIS and Certor Sports, as reported by FOX59.

Richardson emphasized the importance of giving back to the local community. He expressed gratitude towards the support he receives and saw this gesture as a way to reciprocate that support.

Reflecting on the visit, Richardson stated, “It means a lot. A lot of them are supportive of myself, so it means a lot just to give back. I appreciate these guys for watching me and enjoying me play, so why not show some love back?”

During the visit, Richardson also discussed the health of his shoulder and his readiness for the upcoming training camp. He assured fans that he would be ready to go once training camp begins.

Richardson confidently stated, “You’ll see next week once I’m slinging that thing again, so just stay tuned.”

In addition, Richardson shared insights on his shoulder’s condition and the preparations he has undergone during the team’s offseason to be fully prepared.

“I’ve been doing it all,” Richardson explained, referring to his offseason training and throwing sessions with teammates. “We’ve got a game coming up soon, so I’ve got to be ready.”

When asked about being considered the ‘face of the franchise’ in his second year, Richardson expressed gratitude to his teammates, staff, and the organization for their support.

“The support I get from my teammates, the staff and just the franchise in general, I feel that I am the guy, but I’m still young,” Richardson humbly acknowledged. “A couple of years ago, I was just in these guys’ shoes, so I’m still trying to adjust to it. But I know one day I’ll embrace it all.”

As training camp approaches, Richardson is eager to return to the field with his teammates and coaches. He aims to build on the promising performances he displayed during his rookie season.

“I’m back at it. I’m back and I’m better.”
