Barcelona and Real Madrid have been drawn to face Atletico Madrid and Real Sociedad, respectively, in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey, keeping alive the possibility of a Clasico clash in the final for the first time in over a decade.
The first legs of the semi-finals will be played between February 25 and February 27, with the return legs scheduled between April 1 and April 3.
If both Barcelona and Real Madrid progress, they could meet in the final, setting up a potential rematch of their 2014 encounter, famously remembered for Gareth Bale’s incredible late winner.
Barcelona and Real Madrid still have one league meeting left this season, which Barcelona hope will take place at their renovated Camp Nou on May 10.
In their previous two encounters this season, Barcelona emerged victorious with a 4-0 win in La Liga and a 5-2 triumph in the Spanish Super Cup.
The Copa del Rey final is scheduled to take place on April 26 in Seville.
