Dana White wasted no time in responding to PFL co-founder Donn Davis’ recent comments during a town hall session on MMA Fighting. Davis claimed that a recent PFL pay-per-view event outperformed all UFC events this year, but White was quick to refute that statement.
White, armed with statistics comparing PFL to his Power Slap league, pointed out that Power Slap had significantly higher followers, video views, and engagement than PFL. He also highlighted that a UFC Fight Night card had better viewership numbers than the PFL pay-per-view in question.
In typical fashion, White didn’t hold back in his criticism of Davis, likening him to Kamala Harris for talking a lot but saying nothing. He also questioned Davis’ business acumen and advised him to take a vacation.
White made it clear that Davis and the PFL are not in the same league as Power Slap or the UFC, and he expressed confidence that major fighters from PFL, like Usman Nurmagomedov, would eventually prefer to compete in the UFC.
