Dana White Raves About Jon Jones’ Dominance

In a groundbreaking move, Jon Jones is set to defend his UFC heavyweight title for the first time on Nov. 16 at UFC 309 against Stipe Miocic in a highly anticipated main event at Madison Square Garden. Despite not having fought since his victory at UFC 285 in March 2023, UFC President Dana White has been unwavering in his belief that Jones is the greatest fighter of all time and the current top pound-for-pound athlete in the promotion.

White recently took his accolades for Jones to the next level, declaring that Jones’ greatness transcends not only the UFC and MMA but all of combat sports and beyond.

During an interview on Outta Pocket With RGIII, White praised Jones, stating, “I think he’s the greatest combat sports fighter of all time. I think he’s the greatest fighter of all time. Jon Jones is probably the baddest dude to ever walk the face of the Earth, surpassing even legends like Ali and Tyson. Jones’ versatility and skill set are unmatched, capable of excelling in every aspect of combat sports.”

White continued, “Jon Jones will grab you, maul you, elbow you, he can do everything.”

Jones, a former light heavyweight champion, never lost his belt in the division. After a controversial decision win against Dominick Reyes at UFC 247 in February 2020, Jones vacated the title and embarked on a journey to the heavyweight division. His hard work paid off when he submitted Ciryl Gane in the first round at UFC 285 to claim the vacant heavyweight title.
