Darren Till blasts ‘f*cking dumb’ fans ripping Israel Adesanya after UFC Saudi Arabia loss

Darren Till expresses disappointment with certain members of the MMA fan base regarding their views on Israel Adesanya.

The former two-time UFC middleweight champ faced a defeat against Nassourdine Imavov in the UFC Saudi Arabia main event in Riyadh. Adesanya has suffered three consecutive losses, and four out of his last five fights, prompting criticism from various figures in the MMA world, including former champ Michael Bisping. Bisping suggested that Adesanya’s time at the top has come to an end.

While this criticism may hold some truth, it appears that Till was particularly irked by a specific comment from fans, which he addressed on Twitter.

I have just read a comment on an MMA page saying the downfall of Israel Adesanya needs to be studied!!!!!!!!!
Can everyone on here who is not an absolute moron actually understand that statement!!!!!!
I am trying so hard to understand it but can’t… I’m so confused…
What…

Till expressed his bewilderment at the comment, stating, “I have just read a comment on an MMA page saying the downfall of Israel Adesanya needs to be studied! Can everyone on here who is not an absolute moron actually understand that statement? I am trying so hard to understand it but can’t… I’m so confused… What downfall????” Till further elaborated on the criticism faced by fighters in the MMA community.

He continued, “But now, I swear, I can not even fathom that I have just seen a comment saying Israel Adesanya’s downfall needs to be studied. Me and Izzy aren’t friends, I wouldn’t even say I am his biggest fan outside of the octagon etc., but that’s got nothing to do with what that man has achieved in this sport.” Till went on to praise Adesanya’s accomplishments in the middleweight division and emphasized his status as one of the greatest of all time.

Till defended Adesanya’s legacy, highlighting his dominance in the octagon and dismissing the notion that a few recent losses could diminish his legacy. He criticized the current state of MMA fandom, labeling some fans as lacking intelligence and understanding of the sport.

Adesanya faced a tough defeat against Imavov in their recent bout, marking another setback in his career following previous losses. Despite these challenges, Adesanya’s impressive title reign and accomplishments in the middleweight division remain undisputed.

Till also acknowledged the misconceptions surrounding other fighters in the sport, such as Colby Covington, emphasizing the importance of recognizing their skills and dedication to the sport.

In conclusion, Till’s impassioned response sheds light on the complexities of fan opinions in MMA and the need to appreciate fighters for their contributions to the sport.
