Exciting news for fans of Darren Till as he prepares to step into the ring for his Misfits Boxing debut.
Misfits recently announced that Till will be taking on Anthony Taylor in an eight-round heavyweight boxing match, set to headline Misfits X Series 20 on Jan. 18 at Co-op Live in Manchester, England. In the co-main events, Wade Plemons will face off against Masai Warrior in a four-round heavyweight showdown.
Originally slated to fight Tommy Fury, Till now finds himself up against Taylor after Fury withdrew from the match earlier this month. Despite some back and forth banter between the two fighters, Fury decided to pull out, leading to this new matchup. Till’s most recent boxing victory came in July when he defeated Mohammad Mutie via TKO at Social Knockout.
If Till decides to mix in some MMA techniques during the fight, Taylor should be well-prepared. While Taylor gained fame in the influencer boxing world, he also has experience in MMA with 11 fights under his belt, including bouts in Bellator.
