The Los Angeles Dodgers are known for having one of the most talented rosters in baseball, but keeping all their stars together may prove to be a challenge.
While the team is prepared to allocate significant funds towards retaining Jack Flaherty this offseason, they also have to consider the impending contract negotiations with Teoscar Hernández, who is set for a lucrative new deal.
Hernández is among the upcoming free agents in Major League Baseball who have significantly increased their value this season, according to Kerry Miller of Bleacher Report.
“Teoscar Hernández has been putting up impressive numbers this season, showcasing his talent and value to the Dodgers,” Miller stated. “His performance on the field has been on par with some of the biggest names in the game.”
“Despite the challenges of playing alongside the remarkable Shohei Ohtani, Hernández has been a consistent presence in the Dodgers’ lineup, demonstrating both power and durability that will undoubtedly attract attention in the market.”
As of Monday, Hernández boasts a .269/.333/.499 slash line, with 25 home runs and 75 RBIs for the season. His focus remains on winning a World Series ring in 2024 before diving into contract negotiations later this year.
