The New York Yankees’ Offseason Overhaul
The Yankees entered this offseason with one main goal: re-signing Juan Soto. However, when Soto opted for the New York Mets instead, the Bronx Bombers had to regroup and focus on improving their roster.

Offensively, the Yankees added Cody Bellinger and Paul Goldschmidt to their lineup. Bellinger’s power and defensive versatility make him a valuable asset, while Goldschmidt provides stability at first base.
Defensively, the Yankees made significant improvements by adding Bellinger and Goldschmidt. These moves, along with potential additions at third base, could make the team even stronger defensively.
In addition to the major acquisitions, the Yankees made smaller yet strategic moves, such as trading for high-leverage arm Fernando Cruz. These shrewd moves could pay off during the season.
