When discussing sleepers, my focus is on players who have the potential to outperform their ADP significantly. While there are many veterans who offer value in relation to their ADP, they may not necessarily be considered sleepers.

For instance, I often target Alec Burleson ahead of his Yahoo! ADP of pick 228.8. However, I view Burleson as a value pick rather than a player who can drastically exceed his ADP. This article is dedicated to those players who have the potential to make a huge impact.
Here are nine players who fit that criteria.
Check out my sleeper pitchers here.
Oneil Cruz, Pittsburgh Pirates (Yahoo ADP: 59.4)
Despite a solid 2024 season after a previous injury, there is still room for growth for Cruz. With impressive Statcast metrics and the potential to improve his strikeout rate, Cruz could develop into a top-tier player capable of a 30-30-.270 season.
Lawrence Butler, A’s (Yahoo ADP: 86.8)
Butler’s post-All-Star break performance in the previous season showcased his potential for power and speed. With elite exit velocity and hard-hit percentage, Butler has the potential for a 30-30 season.
Bo Bichette, Toronto Blue Jays (Yahoo ADP: 109.3)
Despite a challenging 2024 season, Bichette remains a prime candidate for a bounce-back season given his track record and age. A potential steal after pick 100.
Thairo Estrada, Colorado Rockies (Yahoo ADP: 233.4)
Following a move to Colorado, Estrada has the opportunity to shine with his previous power and speed numbers. Coors Field could elevate his performance.
Matt Wallner, Minnesota Twins (Yahoo ADP: 240.6)
Wallner’s prowess against right-handed pitchers and potential leadoff spot in the lineup make him a valuable fantasy asset. His power and on-base skills make him a versatile option.
Jake McCarthy, Arizona Diamondbacks (Yahoo ADP: 248.5)
McCarthy’s speed and improved plate discipline make him a candidate for a breakout season with increased playing time.
Christopher Morel, Tampa Bay Rays (Yahoo ADP: 248.6)
Morel’s past success and adjustments make him a strong candidate for a rebound season with the Rays.
Nolan Gorman, St. Louis Cardinals (Yahoo ADP: 254.0)
Gorman’s power potential and expected full-time role with the Cardinals make him a valuable late-round pick.
Nolan Schanuel, Los Angeles Angels (Yahoo ADP: 256.2)
Schanuel’s young age and improving skills despite early struggles make him a player with high upside and room for growth.
Player Spotlight: Schanuel’s Potential Breakout Season
Schanuel had an impressive .373 on-base percentage in the latter part of the previous season. With a focus on improving his power game, he has the opportunity to make significant strides in the upcoming season.
