The future of the promotion is currently uncertain.
GFL had planned an ambitious launch to its first season, aiming to stage a two-day, 31-fight lineup on Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. The double-header events were scheduled to feature 42 UFC veterans and nine former UFC/Bellator champions (including interim champions), however those plans have now fallen apart.
