Jimmy Butler is seeking a change in scenery.
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Miami Heat’s star player is “interested” in being traded to another team before the February 6 deadline. Despite his preference, Butler has not yet made a formal request to leave the Heat.
At 35 years old, Butler has been playing in the NBA for 14 years, with his tenure at the Miami Heat starting in 2019. The Heat organization is said to be open to trade offers for Butler, especially since he desires to join a team that is in a position to win a championship.
