How many times has Andy Murray won Wimbledon?

Murray has claimed the men’s singles title at Wimbledon twice.

His first victory came in 2013 when he defeated Novak Djokovic in straight sets, followed by another win in 2016 against Milos Raonic.

2005

Murray made his Wimbledon debut in 2005, receiving a wildcard after a strong performance at Queen’s. He impressed by defeating notable opponents before falling short in the third round.

2006

The following year saw Murray’s progress continue at Wimbledon, culminating in a fourth-round exit to Marcos Baghdatis.

2008

After missing the tournament in 2007 due to injury, Murray reached the quarterfinals in 2008 before being defeated by Rafael Nadal.

2009

Murray was considered a contender in 2009, making it to the semifinals before being stopped by Andy Roddick.

2010

In 2010, Murray reached the semifinals once again but was unable to overcome Rafael Nadal.

2011

Murray’s 2011 campaign ended in the semifinals against Nadal, highlighting his consistent performance at the tournament.

2012

2012 was a breakthrough year for Murray, as he reached the Wimbledon final for the first time but fell short against Roger Federer.
