There seems to be some bad blood between UFC champions Ilia Topuria and Belal Muhammad.
Topuria holds the UFC featherweight title, while Muhammad is the welterweight champion. Despite the weight class difference between them, the two champions have been exchanging heated words.
Recently, Topuria criticized Muhammad’s upcoming title defense against Shavkat Rakhmonov, calling him a “fake champ” and predicting that Kamaru Usman will reclaim the welterweight belt easily.
Muhammad won the welterweight title by defeating Leon Edwards at UFC 304 after Edwards had taken the belt from Usman.
Muhammad didn’t take kindly to Topuria’s comments and responded by mocking him on Twitter, comparing him to Colby Covington.
Didn’t this dork just buy a fake bmf belt to pose with.. he’s starting to become the Georgian version of Coby Covington

“Didn’t this dork just buy a fake ‘BMF’ belt to pose with… he’s starting to become the Georgian version of Colby Covington.”
This Twitter exchange between the two champions escalated quickly with more insults being thrown around.
“Belal ‘Crotch Sniffer’ Muhammad”
“NO FINISHES
“NO KNOCKOUTS
“NO KNOCKDOWNS
“NO GIRLFRIEND
“NO KIDS
“BELAL HAS NEVER FINISHED ANY MAN OR WOMAN”
Now ur just copying stuff word for word off memes ..

While a champion vs. champion fight could be exciting, the weight difference between Topuria and Muhammad makes it unlikely. It seems that this feud is purely for the drama.
Both fighters have upcoming title defenses to focus on—Topuria against Max Holloway at UFC 308 and Muhammad against Rakhmonov at UFC 310.
