This win marked the Current’s 17th consecutive game without a loss, surpassing the previous NWSL record set by the 2014 Seattle Reign. Their last defeat dates back to September 30, 2023, against the Washington Spirit.
Temwa Chawinga showcased her talent with two goals in just three minutes, bringing her total to 11 goals for the season, leading the NWSL in scoring.
