Luka Dončić will not be playing in Thursday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks due to a sprained right ankle, as reported by ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.
Dončić missed last Friday’s game against the Denver Nuggets to manage his ankle sprain and left calf injury.
The Lakers, who have won three consecutive games, defeated the Nuggets 120-108 on Wednesday night without LeBron James and Rui Hachimura. Dončić had an impressive performance with 31 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists in 32 minutes.
In addition to Dončić, James and Hachimura will also be sidelined for the game against the Bucks.
After a four-game losing streak on the road, the Lakers bounced back with their current winning streak following eight consecutive wins.
As of now, the Lakers hold the third spot in the Western Conference with a 43-25 record.
