Manchester United have unveiled their new home kit for the 2024/25 season.
This season marks the beginning of United’s partnership with Snapdragon, replacing TeamViewer on the front of the Red Devils’ jerseys.
The new shirt features reflective technology that creates a unique appearance from different angles, inspired by the 1950s Busby Babes’ innovative approach to stand out under floodlights.
The shirt incorporates various shades of red that blend seamlessly to produce a luminous effect in specific lighting conditions.
A ‘bright, flame-like red’ shade is introduced as a side panel for the first time, enhancing visibility against the crowd backdrop.
Sam Handy, SVP of product and design at adidas, explained: “The color red is a core element of the club’s identity. This season, we wanted to offer a fresh take on it, drawing inspiration from Manchester United’s innovative designs of the 1950s.”
He added, “The shirts from that era had a color-shifting effect that caught the eye, influencing the modern design of the 2024/25 home kit.”
Fans can now purchase both the authentic and replica versions of the shirt, priced at £110 and £80, respectively.
