What I’m most looking forward to: Seeing Shohei Ohtani return to a two-way player. |
He was the top attraction in baseball as a designated hitter, and this year he will be returning to the pitching mound. Rankings for teams in the MLB:
5. Mets
– Looking forward to Juan Soto’s first impression and Kodai Senga’s performance after injuries.
6. Rangers
– Excited for bounce-back and upside possibilities with players like Evan Carter, Wyatt Langford, Jacob deGrom, Kumar Rocker, and Adolis García.
7. Diamondbacks
– Anticipating a strong rotation with Corbin Burnes, Zac Gallen, Merrill Kelly, Eduardo Rodriguez, and Brandon Pfaadt. 1. The Astros have made it to the playoffs for eight consecutive years and have won the AL West for seven straight 162-game seasons.
2. Gunnar Henderson of the Orioles is one of the few players in franchise history to post a 9-WAR season, joining the likes of Cal Ripken Jr. and George Sisler.
3. Keep an eye on Fernando Tatis Jr. of the Padres, who is only 26 years old and incredibly talented. 12th ranked team, the Cubs, has a promising young player to watch in Pete Crow-Armstrong. He has elite-level baserunning and defensive skills and showed improvement in hitting towards the end of last season.
