Phillies, Realmuto Discussing Extension

Star catcher J.T. Realmuto and the Philadelphia Phillies are exploring a contract extension to keep him in Philly. Realmuto expressed his interest in staying with the team, highlighting his positive experience with the organization.

Realmuto, who will turn 34 in March, has been a key player for the Phillies over the past three seasons, showcasing impressive offensive and defensive skills. If a deal is reached, it is expected to surpass Yadier Molina’s recent contract with the Cardinals.
