MLB News and Rumors

With Major League Baseball spring training right around the corner, teams are making final roster adjustments. Here are the latest updates:

Tigers Eyeing Bregman

The Detroit Tigers are still in the market for infielder Alex Bregman, as reported by ESPN’s Buster Olney. Bregman, a top free agent, has drawn interest from multiple teams including the Astros, Red Sox, and Cubs. The Tigers, managed by A.J. Hinch, have already added Gleyber Torres to their roster and are looking to strengthen their infield further.

Yankees Sign Carrasco

The New York Yankees have signed veteran pitcher Carlos Carrasco to a minor-league deal. Carrasco, returning to New York after a stint with the Mets, will provide depth to the pitching staff. Despite recent struggles, Carrasco has shown potential to be a valuable contributor.

Rays Acquire Faedo

The Tampa Bay Rays have traded for right-handed reliever Alex Faedo from the Tigers. Faedo, known for his quality slider, is expected to compete for a spot on the Rays’ Opening Day roster. The trade involved minor-league catcher Enderson Delgado and cash considerations.
