A standout at LSU and recipient of the Golden Spikes Award in 2023, Crews has shown promise in the Nationals’ minor league system. Despite some ups and downs, his recent performance in August has been impressive, with a .306 batting average and four home runs.
If Crews can live up to his potential, the Nationals could become a force in the National League for years to come. His debut against the Yankees, alongside familiar faces like Soto, adds an exciting element to the matchup.
