The NBA Cup is gearing up for its second year as the league’s in-season tournament, promising exciting matchups right from the start.
Opening night will feature a rematch between the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks, followed by Klay Thompson’s return to face the Golden State Warriors with the Dallas Mavericks.
The action continues on the second night with a showdown between LeBron James and Victor Wembanyama as the Los Angeles Lakers take on the San Antonio Spurs.

The 2024 NBA Cup will feature six groups divided as follows:

East Group A: New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets

East Group B: Milwaukee Bucks, Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors, Detroit Pistons

East Group C: Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, Atlanta Hawks, Washington Wizards

West Group A: Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Clippers, Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers

West Group B: Oklahoma City Thunder, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers, Utah Jazz, San Antonio Spurs

West Group C: Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Pelicans, Golden State Warriors, Memphis Grizzlies
The tournament format includes group play on Tuesdays and Fridays from Nov. 12 to Dec. 3, with knockout rounds, semifinals, and the championship game set to take place in December at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Teams will compete for a share of the prize pool, with the champions and runners-up receiving significant cash rewards.
