Unfortunately, Jay Jay Wilson has been forced to withdraw from the 2025 PFL World Tournament after sustaining a broken jaw. Wilson, with a record of 11-1, was set to face Gadzhi Rabadanov (25-4-2) in the lightweight quarterfinal, which was supposed to be the main event on June 20 at INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kan.
In a post on his Instagram Stories, Wilson shared, “Broke my jaw,” along with images of his X-ray and hospital stay. He expressed his disappointment at not being able to compete on June 20 but reassured his fans that he is doing okay.
The promotion has not yet announced their plans for a replacement. However, a lightweight alternate bout between Antonio Caruso (10-2) and Vinicius Cenci (8-3) was already scheduled for the event.
On the other side of the bracket, Alfie Davis (18-5-1) will face Brent Primus (16-4) in the lightweight tournament.
