Excitement fills Jesus Pinedo as he prepares to enter the cage once again, under very different circumstances this time. Pinedo (23-6-1), a former PFL featherweight champion, will be facing Adam Borics (19-2) in a quarterfinal fight of the 2025 PFL featherweight tournament in Orlando, Fla.
Having been out of action since November 2023 due to injuries and canceled bouts, Pinedo is thrilled to be back in the ring, especially with the recent changes in PFL rules allowing elbows and eliminating the season format.
Being the first Peruvian fighter to win a major MMA belt, Pinedo is eager to showcase his skills under the new rules. “I’m ready for this format, and I do feel like it’s better. You will now see who’s the best, not just who wins,” he expressed.
Pinedo faces a tough opponent in Borics, who has a strong record and notable victories. However, Pinedo is confident in his abilities and promises to defeat Borics decisively.
