Following a tough 4-1 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday night, the Boston Red Sox are gearing up for a rematch in the middle game of the series. The Red Sox are determined to even the series at one game apiece as they face off against the Dodgers once again.
Starting on the mound for Boston will be Brayan Bello, while Los Angeles will counter with Justin Wrobleski.
Here is the lineup that Alex Cora has set for Game 2:
- Rob Refsnyder RF
- Jarren Duran LF
- Tyler O’Neill DH
- Rafael Devers 3B
- Connor Wong C
- Romy Gonzalez SS
- Jamie Westbrook 2B
- Dom Smith 1B
- Ceddanne Rafaela CF
Bello has faced some challenges this season, with a 5.32 ERA and a 1.47 WHIP in his 17 starts. In his recent outings, he has given up a total of 18 earned runs, including a rough outing against the Toronto Blue Jays. Among the Dodgers, Cavan Biggio, Teoscar Hernandez, and Shohei Ohtani have been able to record hits against him.
On the other hand, Wrobleski will be making his first start against the Red Sox after his MLB debut earlier this month. So far, he has allowed eight runs (seven earned) on 10 hits and four walks while striking out eight batters over 10 innings against the Detroit Tigers and Milwaukee Brewers.
