The New Orleans Saints made some significant moves on Sunday, signing guard Tremayne Anchrum Jr. and tackle Jesse Davis. They also placed tackle Justin Herron on injured reserve and waived offensive lineman Mark Evans II.
Anchrum, a 7th round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams, has played in 31 games during his four seasons with the team. He was also the Rams’ nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award in 2022 and recently spent time with the Seattle Seahawks.
Davis, who was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks in 2015, has played in 95 games with 72 starts at various positions for the Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers, and most recently, the San Francisco 49ers.
