Steelers QB Russell Wilson is not concerned about the offense

The Pittsburgh Steelers had a thrilling offseason with the acquisitions of Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. However, the team’s lackluster performance in the first two weeks of the preseason, scoring only 15 points, dampened the initial excitement.

Despite the preseason setbacks, Russell Wilson remains optimistic. He is confident in the team’s practice level and believes in their ability to perform well, even in challenging situations.

Wilson stated, “Somebody asked me if we are concerned – absolutely not. We are going to win the game in the fourth quarter, and that’s the way it’s going to be.”

The team’s confidence is also bolstered by offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, known for his success in Tennessee with the Titans. Smith’s expertise in developing a strong run game and deep passing game led the Titans to an AFC Championship Game appearance and high success rates in the league.

The Steelers will wrap up their preseason against the Detroit Lions and kick off their regular season against the Atlanta Falcons in two weeks.
