Curry, a 10-time All-Star and two-time MVP, expressed his desire to remain a Warrior for life. The 36-year-old guard will have $178 million guaranteed over the next three years, despite the extension being limited to one year due to the NBA’s over-38 rule, as explained by ESPN’s Bobby Marks.
Having spent his entire career with the Warriors since being drafted in 2009, Curry holds numerous franchise records and has been instrumental in the team’s four NBA championships.
