President Donald Trump has made his prediction for Super Bowl LIX, choosing the Kansas City Chiefs as the back-to-back champions. In a pregame interview on Fox, Trump praised Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, who he described as a “phenomenal wife” and a supporter of Trump and MAGA. Despite his personal connection to the Mahomes family, Trump ultimately decided to go with Kansas City for the win.
Before the big game, Trump spent the morning golfing with Tiger Woods and his son at Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach, Florida. The President, an avid golfer, discussed PGA Tour negotiations with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund and LIV Golf with Woods and PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan earlier in the week.
On Super Bowl Sunday, Trump will make history as the first sitting president to attend the game. He will be a guest of Saints owner Gayle Benson and will be joined by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson. Former presidents have attended the Super Bowl in the past, with George H. W. Bush even doing the coin toss twice. Additionally, former first lady Jill Biden, a longtime Eagles fan, is also set to be in attendance for the game.
