Ludvig Åberg Continues Dominant Run with Back-to-Back Wins

Following his victory at Torrey Pines, Ludvig Åberg wasted no time getting back on the golf course. After flying across the country to Southern California, Åberg led The Bay GC to two impressive wins over top competitors in a TGL Presidents Day triple-header in Palm Beach, Florida.

The first match saw The Bay GC defeat Justin Thomas and Atlanta Drive GC with a score of 6-5. In the following match, Åberg and his team secured a 5-4 win over Rory McIlroy and Boston Commons GC, with Wyndham Clark sinking an eagle putt to seal the victory.

This successful stretch for Åberg comes on the heels of his dramatic win at Torrey Pines. The Bay GC now sits at the top of the TGL standings with a perfect 3-0 record.

Bay Dominates Presidents Day Triple-Header

In their first match against Atlanta Drive GC, The Bay GC quickly took control with a 3-0 lead, highlighted by a clutch chip-in from Min Woo Lee. Despite Atlanta’s efforts to close the gap, The Bay maintained their lead and ultimately secured a one-shot victory.

The second match against Boston Commons GC was a tight battle, with Hideki Matsuyama initially putting Boston ahead. However, The Bay rallied back and ultimately clinched the win with a stellar performance from Keegan Bradley and a clutch putt from Åberg.

With these back-to-back wins, The Bay GC has solidified their position at the top of the TGL standings and continues to impress with their strong performances on the course.

Atlanta and LAGC Battle It Out in Close Match

In a closely contested match, Atlanta and LAGC went head-to-head in a thrilling battle. Despite LAGC taking an early lead, Atlanta staged a comeback and forced the match into overtime with a clutch chip-in from Justin Thomas.
