The Ultimate Fighter, the UFC’s reality television competition, is back for its 33rd season.
Casting for TUF 33 will take place from Nov. 4 to Dec. 18, with a focus on welterweight and flyweight fighters. Coaches and the season premiere date are yet to be determined.
Casting for TUF 33 will be conducted remotely with no physical tryouts, and decisions will be made by January.
The previous season of TUF featured coaches Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko, with Ryan Loder and Mairon Santos emerging as champions in their respective weight classes.
Grasso and Shevchenko faced off in a trilogy bout at UFC 306, with Shevchenko winning the flyweight title.
Since its debut in 2005, TUF has been instrumental in promoting UFC, with memorable moments like the TUF 1 finale between Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar.
Notable fighters who have risen from TUF include Nate Diaz, Michael Bisping, Tony Ferguson, and others, although Dana White’s Contender Series has gained popularity as a prospect showcase.
