Exciting Update: Austin Hubbard has a new opponent for UFC 307!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Nate Landwehr is out, and Hubbard will now face off against Alexander Hernandez at the upcoming UFC pay-per-view event on Oct. 5 in Salt Lake City. This news was confirmed by multiple sources familiar with the promotion’s plans and first shared by Hubbard on social media.
Hubbard, who has a 1-1 record in the UFC since his return after appearing on season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter, suffered a loss to Kurt Holobaugh at UFC 292 in August 2023. However, he bounced back with a victory over Michal Figlak at UFC Vegas 91 in April, marking his first promotional win in three years.
On the other hand, Hernandez is determined to turn things around after experiencing two consecutive losses and four defeats in his last five fights. Following his win against Jim Miller in February 2023, Hernandez fell short in decisions against Bill Algeo and Damon Jackson.
