Exciting news for UFC fans as Jack Jenkins prepares to compete in his fourth UFC bout, with the event taking place close to his hometown.
The UFC has officially confirmed that Jenkins will be facing Gabriel Santos at UFC 312, scheduled for Feb. 8 at the prestigious Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia.
Since earning a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series in October 2022, Jenkins has been victorious in three out of four fights. Despite a setback against Chepe Mariscal at UFC 293 in September 2023, Jenkins bounced back with an impressive third-round finish of Herbert Burns at UFC 305 in August. Now, he looks to redeem himself at the venue where he suffered his only UFC loss.
On the other hand, Santos is riding high on his recent UFC victory. Following a closely contested split decision loss to Lerone Murphy at UFC 286 and a knockout defeat to David Onama at UFC Jacksonville, Santos secured a decision win over Yizha at UFC Vegas 97 in September.
The highly anticipated UFC 312 event will feature a middleweight championship rematch between Dricus du Plessis and Sean Strickland as the headline fight, with Zhang Weili defending her strawweight title against Tatiana Suarez in the co-main event.
