Discover the latest from UFC 313, including results, live round-by-round updates, start time, and highlights of the Alex Pereira vs. Magomed Ankalaev fight card taking place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. UFC light heavyweight champion Pereira is aiming for his fourth consecutive title defense against the highly-regarded 205-pound contender Ankalaev.

Pereira (12-2) is ranked No. 3 in Uncrowned’s pound-for-pound list, while Ankalaev (19-1-1, 1 NC) boasts an impressive unbeaten streak of 13 UFC fights — the second-longest in the division’s history.

At 37, Pereira is a former UFC middleweight champion and two-division GLORY Kickboxing champion. Known as “Poatan,” he had a stellar 2024 with three successful title defenses over Jamahal Hill, Jiri Prochazka, and Khalil Rountree Jr., all ending in knockout victories. Despite his 9-1 record in the UFC since 2021, Pereira faces a tough challenge in Ankalaev from Dagestan.

Ankalaev, 32, is recognized as one of the top light heavyweights globally. Following a controversial split draw against Jan Blachowicz in late 2022, he earned his shot back at the title in 2024 with wins over Johnny Walker and Aleksandar Rakic. With a strong wrestling background, Ankalaev presents a different test for Pereira compared to his previous opponents.

In the co-main event, former UFC interim lightweight champion Justin Gaethje (25-5) faces Rafael Fiziev (12-3) in a highly-anticipated lightweight matchup.

The UFC 313 preliminary card kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+, with the main card scheduled for 10 p.m. ET on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
