UFC middleweight Sedriques Dumas has once again found himself in legal trouble in Escambia County, Florida.
According to online arrest records, Dumas (10-3 MMA, 3-3 UFC) was arrested on Monday on five charges, including felony home invasion robbery without a firearm, felony possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor battery, and misdemeanor drug equipment possession and/or use. Fight Swipe first reported the arrest.
Online records indicate that Dumas is currently incarcerated in Escambia County and appeared before Judge Kristina Denise Lightel for an initial appearance on Tuesday. His bond has been set at $558,500.
Dumas is scheduled for a pretrial hearing on May 6, as per online court records. Additionally, an arraignment is set for May 23.
A request for a police report made by MMA Junkie on Tuesday has not yet been returned by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
This latest arrest marks the 14th time Dumas has been arrested in the county since 2014, according to online records.
Prior to this incident, Dumas was most recently arrested in February 2024 for misdemeanor battery. As a result, he spent weeks of a fight camp for a March 30 UFC bout behind bars. However, the charge was later dismissed.
