As the tennis season comes to a close, 128 men and 128 women are gearing up to compete in the US Open Qualifying Tournament with hopes of securing a spot in the prestigious Grand Slam event.
The qualifying tournament will see a total of 16 spots up for grabs in the US Open singles draws, attracting a mix of seasoned veterans and up-and-coming players.
Notable names like Stan Wawrinka, a three-time major singles champion, and rising star Mackenzie McDonald will be vying for a place in the main draw. On the women’s side, former US Open champion Bianca Andreescu and Alycia Parks, known for her powerful serve, are among the contenders.
