Coach Steve Kerr made changes to the starting lineup, bringing in Anthony Davis and Jayson Tatum. The US team showcased its depth with six players scoring in double figures and the bench outscoring South Sudan’s bench 66-14.
Despite a strong effort from South Sudan in the second half, Team USA maintained its lead. South Sudan will now need to win its final Group Stage game against Serbia to advance in the tournament.
