The highly anticipated day of the 2025/26 Championship fixtures release is set to arrive a month after the play-off final. The season will consist of 24 teams playing 46 rounds of matches across 33 weekends, nine midweeks, and four Bank Holidays. The first team confirmed to be part of the programme was Southampton, who suffered relegation from the Premier League on April 6.
The full schedule for the Championship fixtures will be announced at 09:00 BST on Thursday, June 26, 2025. The draws for round one of the EFL Cup and the Vertu Trophy group stage will also be made on the same day and shown live on Sky Sports News.

The 2025/26 Championship season will kick off on the weekend of August 9, 2025, with the final games of the regular season scheduled for the weekend of May 2, 2026. The Championship play-off final will take place on May 23, 2026.
