Edey decided to withdraw from competing for Team Canada at the 2024 Paris Olympics to focus on preparing for his rookie NBA season, including participating in the Summer League.
“I have decided to step back from the selection process for the Paris 2024 Olympics with Canada,” Edey stated. “My primary focus now is on preparing for the challenges ahead as a member of the Memphis Grizzlies.
