Paolo Banchero has quickly risen to prominence in his third NBA season, establishing himself as a dominant force both on and off the court. As the reigning 2023 NBA Rookie of the Year, Banchero is averaging an impressive 24.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game for the Orlando Magic. His stellar performance has exceeded expectations for a former No. 1 overall draft pick, positioning him for a lucrative max rookie contract extension this summer.

Aside from his on-court success, Banchero has also demonstrated his business savvy, securing partnerships with major brands such as 2K Sports, Yahoo Sports, Panini, JD Sports, and Jordan Brand. Drawing inspiration from his father, who owns a successful meat processing business in Seattle, Banchero credits his family for instilling in him the importance of smart business practices from a young age.

In a recent episode of Boardroom Talks, Banchero converses with Rich Kleiman about his career journey, playing under Coach K at Duke, designing his own player-edition colorways for Jordan Brand, and his deep appreciation for basketball history. Reflecting on the legacy of NBA icons like Michael Jordan and LeBron James, Banchero expresses his ambition to compete at their level and make his mark in the league.

Follow Banchero on Instagram for more insights into his basketball journey and personal endeavors.
