Kevin Durant’s trade to the Rockets could reportedly expand to include a record 7 teams

The trade that would send Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets has taken a turn for the even more complex. In a surprising twist, the deal is now expanding to involve a potential league-record seven teams, including the Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, and Minnesota Timberwolves, in addition to the Phoenix Suns and the Rockets.

While no deal is imminent and details are still being ironed out, it’s clear that this trade is shaping up to be a significant and unprecedented transaction in NBA history. If finalized, it would surpass last summer’s record-breaking trade involving Klay Thompson and six teams.

Despite the apparent chaos of a seven-team trade, most of the players involved have already been part of agreed-upon deals. The main addition to the mix seems to be the Hawks, who are reportedly working on a sign-and-trade involving Clint Capela.

Although the trade cannot be officially completed until July 6, when the free agency period begins, it is already generating buzz and speculation among NBA fans. This multi-team trade may be a trivia question in the future, but for now, it’s just another intricate business deal in the world of professional basketball.
