The Golden State Warriors are set to have one of their key starters back on the court on Monday. Jimmy Butler, who has been sidelined with a pelvic contusion, is expected to play in Game 4 as the Warriors face off against the Houston Rockets, according to NBA insider Chris Haynes.
Butler sustained the injury during Game 2 of the series last Wednesday, following a hard landing on his tailbone after colliding with Rockets guard Amen Thompson. He was forced to leave the game and was subsequently ruled out for the remainder of the match.
Although Butler did not suffer a fracture, he was still unable to participate in Game 3 due to the deep glute muscle contusion. Despite his absence, the Warriors emerged victorious over Houston with a final score of 104-93.
Currently leading the series 2-1, Golden State will host their second home game of the series on Monday. The return of Butler will undoubtedly bolster the team’s lineup as they aim to secure another win against the Rockets.
