Exciting Rematch Set for UFC Vegas 95 Main Event
Marcin Tybura and Serghei Spivac are ready to square off once again, this time headlining UFC Vegas 95.
The UFC has confirmed that Tybura and Spivac will have a rematch of their 2020 heavyweight clash as the main event of UFC Vegas 95 on August 10 at the UFC APEX. This news was first reported by Marcel Dorff.
Their previous encounter took place on the undercard of UFC Norfolk, where Tybura emerged victorious with a unanimous decision. Since then, both fighters have seen considerable success, with Tybura boasting a 7-2 record and climbing to No. 8 in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings, while Spivac has a 6-2 record and is ranked No. 10.
In his last fight, Tybura secured a submission win over Tai Tuivasa at UFC Vegas 88 in March, while Spivac suffered a TKO loss to Ciryl Gane at UFC Paris in September.
Aside from the main event, UFC Vegas 95 will also feature a bantamweight showdown between Javid Basharat and Chris Gutierrez, as well as a women’s bantamweight bout pitting Pannie Kianzad against Karol Rosa, along with eight other exciting matchups.
