The highly anticipated showdown between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol is set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, featuring a stacked fight card with seven exciting bouts.
Beterbiev will defend his WBC, IBF, and WBO light heavyweight titles against Bivol, who holds the WBA championship. The winner of this epic clash will emerge as the undisputed champion of the 175-pound division. Originally scheduled for June 1, the fight was postponed due to Beterbiev’s injury, but Bivol kept the momentum going by defeating Malik Zinad to keep the unification bout alive.
Hailing from Dagestan and fighting out of Quebec, Canada, Beterbiev boasts a perfect professional record of 20-0, with all victories coming by knockout. He faces his toughest challenge yet in the undefeated Bivol, who stands at 23-0.
Bivol, who won an interim WBA title in 2016, has since gone on to win 14 consecutive title fights, including a memorable unanimous decision victory over Canelo Alvarez in May 2022.
In addition to the main event, the co-main event will feature Chris Eubank Jr. taking on Kamil Szeremeta. The undercard includes WBC featherweight champion Skye Nicolson defending her title against Raven Chapman, and the exciting matchup between viral sensation Ben Whittaker and Liam Cameron in the light heavyweight division.
