Legendary boxer George Foreman has passed away at the age of 76, as confirmed by a statement from his family on his official Instagram account.
The specific cause of death has not been disclosed by the family.
Throughout his career, Foreman participated in 81 fights, boasting an impressive record of 76 wins and 5 losses, with 68 victories coming by knockout. He was honored with inductions into both the World Boxing Hall of Fame and the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
Retiring in 1997 at the age of 48, Foreman made history by becoming the oldest world heavyweight champion at the age of 46.
