Nuno Espirito Santo dismisses rumors linking Wolves forward Matheus Cunha with Nottingham Forest, stating he is unaware of any such speculation. Forest, currently vying for a European spot, have also been linked with Brentford’s Yoane Wissa, who has been in fine form this season.

Regarding Forest’s January transfer plans, Nuno emphasizes the club’s focus on retaining their current squad to address any challenges. He acknowledges the difficulty of the transfer market but remains committed to improving the team.

Forest’s impressive third-place position in the Premier League, just six points behind leaders Liverpool, comes as a surprise to many. Nuno attributes their success to the players’ dedication, teamwork, and strong bond on and off the field.

Center-back Murillio has signed a new contract, showcasing the positive atmosphere at the club. Nuno praises Murillio’s talent and potential for further growth, highlighting his importance to the team alongside Nikola Milenkovic.

Star striker Chris Wood, with 14 league goals this season, is also in talks for a new deal. Nuno remains optimistic about the negotiations but refrains from providing details.

In injury news, winger Callum Hudson-Odoi may miss the upcoming match due to a groin issue. Nuno mentions that Hudson-Odoi is being evaluated to determine his availability.
