Exciting news for Chelsea fans as Jadon Sancho joins the Blues from Manchester United!
Sancho’s move to Chelsea is on loan with an obligation to buy, with reports suggesting Manchester United will receive up to £25m.
The deal was confirmed at 19:30 on Saturday, almost 24 hours after the transfer window closed.
Despite a resurgence in pre-season under Erik ten Hag, Sancho decided to leave United after being left out of the matchday squad for the first two Premier League games.
Juventus were initially interested in Sancho, but he has now officially joined Chelsea, leaving United with 12 goals in 83 appearances.
Born in London, this will be Sancho’s first time playing for a club in the English capital, having previously been with Watford, Manchester City, and Dortmund.
As Sancho arrives at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea have also agreed to loan Raheem Sterling to Arsenal for the 2024/25 season.
