Jasmine Jasudavicius is on the lookout for opponents with lower rankings as she makes her way up the UFC flyweight division, with Erin Blanchfield being a potential candidate.

Jasudavicius recently secured a victory against Fatima Kline at UFC Denver, who happens to be Blanchfield’s teammate. Originally scheduled to face a top-10 opponent, Jasudavicius believes Blanchfield fits the criteria perfectly.

Speaking on The MMA Hour, Jasudavicius expressed her interest in facing Blanchfield, stating, “I like it. I think it’s possible. Her team has already prepared to fight me, so let’s make it happen.”

Blanchfield recently suffered her first defeat in the octagon, losing to Manon Fiorot at UFC Atlantic City. Jasudavicius mentioned that she had her fight booked with Viviane Araujo during Blanchfield’s bout, but now that she is free, she is considering her next move.

Reflecting on Blanchfield’s performance, Jasudavicius said, “She’s obviously a good option. I remember her being on the radar before, so we’ll see what Mick [Maynard] has planned for me.”

Currently ranked No. 14 in the UFC flyweight rankings, Jasudavicius sees Blanchfield as an opportunity to climb higher in the division. Regardless of the opponent, the Canadian fighter is prepared for any challenge that comes her way.

Excited about the possibility of a card in Canada in November, Jasudavicius expressed her readiness to compete again soon, stating, “I can turn around and fight again next month, or next week. I’m ready to jump on opportunities.”
