BOSTON — Jaylen Brown is tired of discussing his knee injury.

After an impressive performance in a 109-100 win against the Orlando Magic in Game 2 of their playoff series, Brown faced the inevitable question about his bruised knee that has been bothering him since mid-March. Despite missing several games and receiving pain injections, Brown refused to dwell on the topic.

“Just another game to be played,” he remarked.

With 36 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists in the victory, Brown silenced all doubts about his knee. This standout performance marked his first 30-10-5 game in the playoffs, showcasing his unwavering commitment to the team.

“In my first interview in Boston, I pledged to go to battle for this city,” Brown declared. “And that promise remains unchanged.”

Missing Jayson Tatum in Game 2 due to a bone bruise on his wrist, the Celtics leaned heavily on Brown’s exceptional skills. Despite the absence of their star player, Brown stepped up and delivered a memorable performance that demonstrated his leadership on and off the court.

The Celtics will continue their series against the Magic in Game 3 on Friday, with Brown poised to lead the team to further success.

Throughout the game, Brown’s energy and determination were evident, inspiring his teammates to elevate their performance. His resilience and willingness to sacrifice for the team did not go unnoticed, earning him praise from his fellow players.

As a four-time All-Star, Brown has consistently proven his capabilities, averaging impressive stats over the past seasons. While Tatum usually takes the lead, Brown showcased his ability to rise to the occasion when needed, embodying a team-first mentality.

As the playoffs intensify, Brown’s determination and skill set will be crucial for the team’s success. With his high level of play and readiness to give his all on the court, Brown has proven that he is a force to be reckoned with in the postseason.
