According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the league’s highly anticipated slate for Dec. 25 was revealed on Thursday night, promising another thrilling day of basketball. This comes as the NFL also schedules a pair of games on Christmas to compete for viewership.
While the complete schedule is yet to be released, here’s a sneak peek at the five games reportedly set to take place on Christmas Day this year.
The New York Knicks, known for hosting Christmas Day games, will kick off the holiday by welcoming Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs to Madison Square Garden.
Next up, the Dallas Mavericks, fresh off their recent NBA Finals appearance, will host the Minnesota Timberwolves in a rematch of the Western Conference finals. This game will feature Luka Dončić and Klay Thompson facing off in what promises to be an exciting showdown.
